London Wedding Toastmaster interviewed by Spanish TV

I enjoyed being interviewed by Spanish TV Telemadrid’s ‘Madrileños por el Mundo’ programme tracking Jamón Master Jose Sol (left) who asked me to describe the rôle of a Toastmaster at a traditional British wedding. Grateful to Producer/Reporter Juan Luis Martin (right) for hosting and to Luis Neves from London’s Hotel Café Royal for facilitating the filming.

Master of Ceremonies at Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club 2018

Being a big tennis fan, I had the privilege of acting as Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies at the 150th anniversary dinner of Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club held in the historic Royal palace of Banqueting House. This is as close as anyone gets to touching the Championships singles’ trophies without actually winning the tournament!

Life Before Being a Master of Ceremonies

Before becoming a Toastmaster, Richard led the life of a secret TV celebrity! He appeared on the BBC’s TV game show “Blankety Blank” in 1981 with presenter, Terry Wogan. Unfortunately, Terry Wogan died on 31 January 2016. RIP Terry Wogan.
