Royal Hospital Chelsea Founders’ Day 2018

I was lucky enough to visit Founders’ Day at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Not as Toastmaster or Master of Ceremonies but as a member of the public. Here is the ceremony around Figure Court. 300 red-coated old soldiers live within this iconic establishment founded by King Charles Il in 1681 and designed by Sir Christopher Wren. I am lucky to live next door to these brave men and women but careful not to wear my own red coat in close proximity to them!
