The day of the attack at the Houses of Parliament, a sad day for London, I was acting as Toastmaster and compere at the Landmark hotel for the 2017 French Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner.

Our Guest of Honour was to be the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan but he could not obviously attend. Instead we were fortunate to have the Deputy Mayor Rajesh Agrawal in Sadiq’s place. In the audience is the French Ambassador Sylvie Berman
